The total number of items includes more than 2,500 handbrake cables, 750 clutch cables and 700 throttle cables, more than 8,500 different components are needed.
HANDBRAKE CABLES
Although handbrake cables are not used as regularly, they are a important safety product. Inner cables are therefore used for these with a larger diameter and the outer cable has an extra protective layer providing greater corrosion resistance.
CLUTCH CABLES
Are used regularly and must glide easily, the inner cable is therefore coated with nylon and the outer surface is often a combination of a smooth and round winding (trapeze shaped).
